WHO IS A BORDER RESIDENT CROSS BORDER WOMAN TRADER
Border Residents of Cross Border Women Traders (CBWT) are Women traders in cross border trading who are resident or native of communities 7kilometers from the border in accordance with world immigration Laws of Border residents. They are both formal and informal traders in goods and service provision at the borders. Mostly small scale traders
THIS TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP are reversed for border resident who resident 7 kilometers from the land borders for not less than 2 years
Eligibility as a Border Resident Cross Border Women Traders
General Eligibility Criteria:

- Age: 18-65 years old
- Gender: Female
- Residency: Living in a border town or city
- Nationality: Citizen of the country where the border town/city is located
- Business Ownership: Owns/operates a small-scale cross-border trading business
Specific Eligibility Criteria:

- Business Type: Engaged in legitimate cross-border trade (e.g., agricultural products, textiles, handicrafts)
- Business Size: Micro, small, or medium-sized enterprise (MSME)
- Trade Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of cross-border trading experience
- Income Level: Low to moderate income
- Education: Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Documentary Requirements:

- Business Registration documents (not mandatory before registration)
- Proof of Residency( Endorsement by Traditional area queen mother and assembly member)
- Proof of business ownership ( Market Queen endorsement
- Tax identification number (TIN)
- Bank statement or financial records
